Selling Our House Part 2

I prayed and prayed that we would sell our house. I got to the point that I prayed that we would just, please oh please, start the new year with a legitimate offer. Needless to say, New Year's eve, at 6:30 pm, as we were looking back at the past year, we got an offer!!

Once we got the contract signed, after a counter offer and acceptance, we started getting ready. We had about 7 weeks to get our stuff packed and ready to go. One of the conditions the buyer had was that we had to paint over our murals upstairs. The Winnie The Pooh Nursery, the Texans Logo in the Mancave, and the pink wall with damask pattern in Abby's room.

So I did. I painted over them. First with primer, then back to normal. (Here's a look at what it looked like when I did the primer.... )
No more tree and saying

No more Texans

No more Tigger and Piglet

No more Pooh

But of course, as things go, so must our paint choices as we move.

With the house packed and purged of everything we don't use on a daily basis, we are pretty much ready to go. We still have about 4 weeks left, but we have a place lined up and a plan of attack for the final packing.
